A Vehicle for Kindness
It’s incredible to think what this walk has become! What started as an adventure has turned into a full-fledged career for the two of us, something only made possible by the kindness and support of you amazing people!
This journey started as such a leap of faith. We’ve been bringing it up more and more recently, perhaps because it’s finally started to sink in. After buying all our gear, we left with barely $200 and a belief in what we were doing, a back-to-roots trial of perseverance, a test of the heart still alive in ourselves and society. The world didn’t let us down; it embraced us, lifting us up to unknown goals.
Over the last 3 1/2 years, we’ve been invited into over 500 strangers’ homes, have spoken publicly on multiple occasions, have shared our message on both local and national television more times than we can count, made our way into 100’s of articles, and have had great conversations with dozens of independent outlets, radio stations, and podcasts.
We’ve reached 10’s of millions of individuals through Facebook alone, sharing this ridiculously broad and nearly incomprehensible idea: our thoughts shape our reality, our reality shapes our thoughts, and we can turn inward to a thousand avenues for regulating both. It will ripple out into our relationships, and for that matter, so will everything we think and do go on to impact the very reciprocal world around us.
People do not market this kind of raw information, because it is incredibly hard to run so against the grain in a world dumbing us down by appealing to the most common denominators—marketing to the masses, rather than building something worth believing in. This is the road less traveled, but its path is only cleared thanks to you.
We are merely a vehicle for the kindness of others to shine through. We are only privy to the insights we share, because of what the world has met us with. We have only been made to love harder, because of the love that was first shared with us.
We hope we make you proud. It’s because of you that we are made possible. And we hope that with every post, every essay, every video, every somber moment, every vibrant moment, every hardship, every privilege bestowed upon us, every new friend, every conquered obstacle, and each new adventure… we are helping make your life a little brighter, your mind a little sharper, your will more resilient, and your heart more loving.
