Is Love Enough?

IS love enough?

Just cut out the fluff!

Do you really need all that stuff?

Just see for yourself,

Through power and wealth, 

To the witness deep down,

To what’s all around, 

To what’s important within.

Not the grind, not the win.

Have you seen it yet?

Have you seen through the veil?

Beyond what’s for sale?

Beyond desire and ego,

To the places that we go? 

Or are you fettered to will, 

To the abominable mill,

Churning wheat into sugar, 

In haste just for taste,

Creating nothing but waste. 

There’s an alternative path!

One spacious and pure,

Yet narrow, unsure,

One open to all,

To which we each have been called.

Come hither or don’t, 

Judge you, we won’t. 

But the path’s been made clear,

LOVE is most dear.
