You Didn’t Make it Here Alone
No one saves themselves alone. If we need saving and are not directly saved by another, we are saved within an interconnected reality whose paths to redemption were carved by those around us or those before us.
Likewise, no one is self made. If we have built something beautiful, we have built it on the shoulders of giants. We have built it with the raw materials harvested by others, refined and shaped into forms designed by others, or developed from the ideas first thought of by others.
Do not pretend you have accomplished anything by yourself. Be grateful for those who came before, those who are with you, and those who are against you.
In both acceptance and opposition, we are made better by each other. You will soon experience death alone; be thankful for the life we live together.
