What’s this? It looks like you were already on our mailing list and have received it early! Oh, joyous day! Behold! A Manual for Living Well!

If you’re not totally satisfied with your life experience, stop and assess. Ask yourself, “Am I truly content? How do I see the world and my place in it? Am I fulfilled by what I am doing?”

Your life’s worth is measured by the quality of the experiences contained within it.

Your environment is not always something within your control, but the way you interpret, react, and to some degree perceive it is. Practice gratitude, mindfulness, or reframing. Learn to find the positive, the beauty, or the meaning even in small, ordinary things. In everything, think of all the ways you could interpret or react, and apply those of the greatest benefit.

With that being said, we are also products of our environment, always changing, even in resistance to the influences around us. Actively look for new experiences, specifically those that will influence you for the better. Change your environment, habits, and routines. Meet different people. Engage in unfamiliar work or hobbies. See how these things transform you, and apply what is of the greatest benefit.

Responsibility is important, but it should not be a cage. You are of little help to those you care about if you are burnt out, resentful, or joyless. Nurture yourself so you can bring positivity, energy, and strength to others. Self care can be more selfless than selfish when it’s preparation for service.

It is a fate worse than death to suffer a life you do not enjoy. Refuse to accept an unfulfilled or dissatisfied life. Either change your circumstances or change your perspective. Do not drift into complacency or apathy. Let your understanding of these things stifle such inclinations. Life is too short to be alive without truly living.

Return to the beginning whenever you feel stuck or stagnant. Life is not fulfilled in an instant, but through a continuous series of recalibrations according to perspective, goals, and environment. Keep re evaluating. Keep experimenting. Never stop learning to experience better.
