Seek and You Will Find

Keep on seeking, and you will find. Look for the good in others, and they will reveal their best aspects. Reach out to others, and you will find connection. Prioritize peace, and you will not be met with conflict. Focus on gratitude, and you will find abundance. Dwell on problems, and they will multiply. Look for beauty, and you can find it where others see only ugliness. Open your heart, and it will be filled. Look for love, and you will find love; look for hate, and you will find hate. Lend attention to the darkness in the world, and you will grope about in the dark; look on the bright side, and you will find enlightenment. Seek understanding at the cost of everything else, and you will gain wisdom.

That our thoughts are the resulting formations of what we have given our attention to, and all that we are and all that we do is the result of what we have thought. Therefore, because the world is reciprocal, and you have been and will be the object of people’s attention, you carry great responsibility for the things you lend your attention to and the thoughts you cultivate.
