The Lie We Sold Ourselves
Swarms of biting flies, midnight mountain lion, trips, falls, cuts, scrapes, sore muscles, malnourished fasting, repeatedly freezing temperatures—and you have somehow lost the feeling of anxiety? You have de-stressed, unspooled, and decompressed? You have found more love? You have rid yourself of certain unnecessary opinions? You have found comfort in discomfort and security in uncertainty?
Yeah. Straight up. Now let that sink in as you go on to spend way too much time working, stressing, and selling your soul to buy things that give you pleasure and make you comfortable, rather than making every effort to nourish yourself and your relationships.
Life is too short and too big to buy the lie we have sold ourselves. We are here to deliver a different message with nothing to sell and only the trust enough of you will understand and support the message.
If you want to find contentment, it isn’t found in the attainment of what you desire, but in the temperance of desire.
You must open yourself to be fulfilled. Let go or be dragged. Stop distracting and start observing.
